On Wednesday 10th June our production of “the Taming of the Shrew” was performed at the Frederich Ebert Obersank in Berlin to a very enthusiastic audience. We did 2 performances of taming of the shrew one in Wales and one in Berlin. The first performance that we done was in Wales, this was only a preview performance, it was supposed to be performed outside but due to weather we decided it would be best to do the performance in the theatre. Today we got to see the set for the first time, considering the production team has had a lot of time to build a set I think they could do a lot better. I was expecting a really good set that we could work with and be happy with. I am disappointed with the effect that has been put into it. After this we worked on the dance in the wedding scene. I feel as if every time we do it, it’s getting better but am still not comfortable doing it as other people don’t pick the dance up straight… Continue

Today I weren’t in any of the scenes as they were rehearsing Act 4. So I sat and watched all day. I found that everyone is doing really well.

Today it was decided that the show would be performed on Thursday instead of Monday as we ain’t had enough time with full cast in rehearsals and didn’t want to feel like we hadn’t done good on the night.
